Simplicity

I, like most others in life, seem to make way more out of things than necessary.

Take acts of kindness...they are suspect to me.

Honesty...Where is the hidden agenda?

Loyalty...never turn my back on you...

These are merely conditioned responses to a lifetime of "learning lessons."

But what if they were exactly what they were?

What if life is a fight and we must take it as it is? Can this be applied to the concept of real fighting? I believe so.

In a self defense circumstance, the "self" is key to survival. A punch may be thrown, but is it really just a punch? Or is is a jab which "feels" you out?

Get punched in the face enough, and a punch is just that what it sells itself to be...a punch.

Trusting ourselves to not complicated fighting is just as hard as it is to trust ourselves in life.

The only "must" we have is to continue to fight...to get back up...to move forward and to fight back!

Fighting is as old as our existence...self defense is life.

Fight others but never yourself.
